Chase transactions to CSV: what Chase's own page confirms

This guide is shorter than the others on purpose. The only Chase page we could find that names a CSV download for personal accounts describes it inside Chase's Spending Planner tool, without click-by-click steps. We only state what that page says.

What Chase's page says

What we could not confirm

Have we tested a Chase file?

No. None of the public sample files we tested came from Chase, and few of our samples are from US banks at all. If the categorizer does not recognise the layout, you can pick the date and amount columns yourself.

Then categorize it free, offline

Open the categorizer, drop the CSV on the page, and it sorts every line into categories with monthly totals. The file is read inside your browser tab and is not uploaded.

Free: one file at a time, latest 3 months of it. Categories are automatic guesses; check them before using the numbers for tax. CSV only, no PDF.
