How to export your Starling Bank transactions to CSV
Starling's monthly statements now come as PDF only. To get a CSV, you use a different screen in the app called feed exports. These steps are from Starling's own help page.
Steps (Starling app)
- Open your account menu in the top right of the screen.
- Tap Statements and documents.
- Select Statement history.
- Tap the blue Go to feed exports link at the top of the screen.
- Choose Current month to date, Last 3 full months, or Custom date range.
- Choose CSV. The other options are PDF and large-print PDF.
Good to know
- Starling says a custom range can cover any dates in the last 12 months.
- Starling says these transaction summary exports are not verifiable statements. If a landlord, lender or official body asks for a statement, download the monthly PDF statement instead.
- Starling says it changed how statements work from August 2026. Older guides that mention a CSV option on the monthly statement screen are out of date.
- Starling's page does not describe the CSV columns. UNKNOWN to us.
- We used the page for personal accounts. We did not check Starling's help for business accounts.
Have we tested a Starling file?
No. We have not run a Starling CSV through the categorizer. If it does not recognise the layout, you can pick the date, amount and description columns yourself. You can check this with the free version before you pay anything.

Then categorize it free, offline
Open the categorizer and drop the CSV on the page. It sorts every line into categories and shows monthly totals. The file is read inside your browser tab and is not uploaded.
Free: one file at a time, the latest 3 months of it. Categories are automatic guesses, so check them before you use the numbers for tax. CSV for most banks; PDF only for ADIB statements.
